POLL: Eric Schmitt Maintains Massive Lead

Public polling released on Friday by Remington Research shows that among likely GOP Senate Primary voters, Missouri Republicans overwhelmingly support Conservative fighter Eric Schmitt for U.S. Senate. Eric Schmitt leads all other candidates in the field.

The poll showed Schmitt leading with 29 percent leading Eric Greitens by 8 points. Undecided voters are at 17 percent while the other candidates in the race take up 10 percent of the vote.

This survey reinforces the results of previous polls, showing that former disgraced governor Eric Greitens’ candidacy for U.S. Senate is failing under the weight of domestic abuse allegations, while voters rally behind Eric Schmitt’s fight to save America from Biden’s disastrous administration.

The survey was conducted May 11-12 of 945 likely 2022 Republican primary election voters. The margin of error of the survey is +/-3% with a 95 percent level of confidence and was conducted by calls to landline and cell phones.

Following a POLITICO report on a leaked draft opinion from the United States Supreme Court that shows that a majority of the Court intends to overturn Roe v. Wade, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt released the following statement:

“We’re encouraged by the draft opinion, and it is consistent with the briefs we’ve submitted to the United States Supreme Court calling for Roe v. Wade to be overturned. If we’re successful and Roe v. Wade is overturned, I’m prepared to immediately issue the opinion that would protect the unborn in Missouri.”

In July 29, 2021, Eric Schmitt joined a coalition of 24 states in filing an amicus brief in Dobbs v. Mississippi Department of Health, supporting Mississippi’s law that bans abortions after 15 weeks.

“Since taking office, I have always fought to protect the unborn, and that fight continues today. As we argue in the brief, it is time for the Supreme Court to overrule Roe v. Wade and Casey,” said Attorney General Schmitt. “While we’re fighting in court to defend Missouri’s pro-life laws, I’m proud to join 24 of my colleagues in support of Mississippi’s similar legal battle.”
