Joe Biden has once again bowed down to China and given the Chinese Communist Party more control over our economy. This time, Biden has invoked the Defense Production Act to lift tariffs on Chinese solar products to boost his New Green Deal energy dreams.

For far too long the United States has allowed Chinese companies to dominate the American market. Now, instead of investing in American companies, Biden has taken the easy route by lifting tariffs against a country determined to see the United States fall. This action has been taken with the sole purpose of benefiting Green New Deal policies that will ultimately fail to address the energy needs of our country.

This policy is as foolish as it is dangerous. We need leaders who aren’t afraid to stand up to China, and who will fight for American security. Eric Schmitt has been relentless in his fight to save America from Chinese threats, and will bolster domestic production, not ship jobs overseas.

Just like the rest of Biden’s agenda, his immigration policy is failing miserably. The cartels are making millions of dollars every month through their drug smuggling and human trafficking operations, border patrol agents are being put in increasing danger during their efforts to protect our country, and there is no end in sight.

Rational leaders, regardless of their industry, typically have the same practical approach to fixing difficult problems: assess the damage, look at the facts, engage stakeholders, and offer a solution. Biden has chosen to disregard this method, and instead focus solely on the stakeholders–the liberal activists, pro-immigration social groups, and the Democratic base that has yet to comprehend the severity of this border crisis. The liberal apparatus controlling the White House has refused to provide any viable solutions to the illegal immigration disaster, and has only exacerbated an already dire situation through repeated inaction.

Instead, the liberal news media has been dispatched to aid in Biden’s defense, attacking anyone who dares challenge the security of our southern border. The impacts of illegal immigration are apolitical and widespread. The fentanyl traveling from Mexico is killing indiscriminately, terrorists are entering our country with ease, and hundreds of thousands of illegal, unvetted migrats are crossing monthly. But according to liberal news sources like the Washington Post, even speaking of these concerns is “radical,” mischaracterizing the America First movement as a fringe group slogan.

Eric Schmitt disagrees and won’t be intimidated by the Liberal News Industrial Complex. Eric Schmitt joined the Annie Frey Show to discuss his fight for our southern border, and to set the record straight on what it means to be America First.

The Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration has issued a new rule requiring investment advisors to elevate investments into green energy and anti-climate change efforts in employee retirement savings investment decisions. This rule would mandate that financial advisors work not in the best interest of their customers, but in the interests of the same green energy companies that financed Biden’s presidential campaign.

With out of control inflation and near record setting gas prices, the Biden administration’s policies are decimating our economy. Eric Schmitt is fighting back against Biden’s irresponsible fiscal agenda, writing a letter to the The Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration demanding that Biden stop stealing from our wallets to fund his Green New Deal Dreams.

“Fiduciaries should not be encouraged to consider or be protected from legal action for elevating immaterial or speculative risks when investing or offering investment options for employee retirement savings. The Department should reiterate a fiduciary’s duty of prudence and loyalty, not weaken it,” the letter stated.

ICYMI: Eric Schmitt Holds Massive Lead In U.S. Senate Primary

In case you missed it, recently released public polling by Remington Research Group shows Eric Schmitt leading the crowded GOP field to replace retiring Missouri U.S. Senator Roy Blunt.

The poll shows Eric Schmitt trouncing former disgraced governor Eric Greitens by 8 points, and leading all other Missouri U.S. Senate candidates by double the margin of error.

The survey was conducted May 11-12 of 945 likely 2022 Republican primary election voters. The margin of error of the survey is +/-3% with a 95 percent level of confidence and was conducted by calls to landline and cell phones.
